Fritz Scheuren, Ph.D., is currently on the Executive Committee of the NISS Board. At NISS, he also chairs the NISS Board’s Awards and Marketing Committees.
Scheuren is currently an Emeritus Senior Fellow and former Vice President at NORC at the University of Chicago, where he has worked since 2001. He has had many previous roles in government, in the private sector, and at university, over a long distinguished career. He was the 100th President of the American Statistical Association.
Fritz has published over 500 papers and a half-dozen books. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Statistical Journal of the International Association For Official Statistics and is writing the second edition of the Springer book, Data Quality and Record Linkage Techniques, coming out this winter.
