Alice Yu

Currently serving as a Mathematical Statistician at the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) for over 11 years, Alice specializes in sample design strategies for the Consumer Price Index and utilizes AI and machine learning techniques for modeling complex data, particularly in the field of rent prices. With proficiency in a variety of computer applications and programming languages such as SAS, R, and Python, She has contributed to the statistical community through publications and presentations at conferences, such as JSM and FCSM. Alice holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management from Stony Brook University, along with Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and Economics.
