POSITION: Assistant Professor. This is a nine-month tenure-track position in the Department of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology beginning August 2025. This faculty member will be hired to support the Educational Research, Measurement, and Analysis (ERMA) area in the Educational Psychology program, which offers MS and PhD degrees designed to prepare academics and researchers, in fields related to education. We are seeking faculty committed to both research and practice with expertise in applied quantitative educational research methods, measurement, and analysis. ERMA faculty support the College of Education’s commitment to undergraduate and graduate education by offering coursework in educational research and evaluation. The Department of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology is housed in the College of Education. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in quantitative research methods, measurement, and evaluation
2) Engage in rigorous research resulting in scholarly publications, preferably peer-reviewed journal articles in prestigious outlets
3) Direct student research including projects, theses, and dissertations
4) Serve as a methodologist on dissertation committees and advise graduate students;
5) Participate in the planning and implementation of curricular changes for the program and department
6) Provide institutional service as assigned by the department head and engage in professional service within the discipline
7) Participate in professional activities as needed to ensure the well-being of the program, department, and college
8) Secure extramural research funding as appropriate to disciplinary focus
