NISS is co-sponsoring The University of Georgia/Clemson University Joint Seminar. Since the 1970's the University of Georgia Department of Statistics and the Clemson University Mathematical Sciences Department have organized the annual UGA/Clemson Joint Seminar which alternates between Athens and Clemson each year.
Speaker: Dr. Daniel Apley
This seminar will be given by Professor Daniel Apley from Northwestern University. Dr. Daniel Apley is a Professor of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. Dr. Apley's work has been supported by numerous industries and government agencies, and he has received the NSF CAREER award, the IIE Transactions Best Paper Award, and the Wilcoxon Prize for best practical application paper appearing in Technometrics.
