NISS Position: 
Research Fellow

Enis joined NISS in September 2015 as a Research Fellow. In this new role, he advises the Acting Commissioner of the National Center for Education Statistics (U.S. Department of Education), conducts research using data from NCES’s large scale assessments such as  NAEP and TIMSS, and provides in-house expert guidance to NCES staff,. Prior to joining NISS, he served as the lead psychometrician and co-chair of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) Research and Psychometrics Committee. His responsibilities included designing, managing and conducting research to inform the development of the PARCC assessments as valid and reliable tools for assessing students' mastery of the Common Core State Standards.
