MAKING CONNECTIONS TO TARGET CURRENT CHALLENGES ...
The NISS Affiliate Program brings together statistical, mathematical and data science professionals from all sectors – academia, industry, government / national lab – to support research, information dissemination, human resource development and networking.
All institutions are presented with challenges. These may range from statisticians trying to solve a specific statistical problem posed by a unique set of data to the challenges faced by managers seeking ways to provide stimulating career paths to retain exemplary data science employees. Affiliate institutions can take advantage of events NISS has in the pipeline or work to define new opportunities that will address their needs, and likely the needs of NISS colleagues as well.
The NISS Affiliates Program acts as a forum through which industry, academia and government partners support data driven solutions for business, government and society.
