Former NISS Board of Trustee member Janet Norwood passed away March 27. She was 91. Norwood led the Bureau of Labor Statistics from 1979 - 1991 and was a trailblazer for many female statisticians. Read about her amazing career in the New York Times obituary.
Norwood served on the NISS Board of Trustees from 1992 - 2000.
