Each year at JSM, NISS Affiliates get together for a luncheon to connect, network with other affiliates and examine a specific topic of common interest. This year luncheon speakers will talk about how data science groups are organized within industry as well as within institutes of data science in academia. How did these groups get established and how have they grown to meet the needs of the institutions they serve? What challenges do these groups face? What needs have they successfully filled?
We are very excited about hearing more from our affiliate colleagues on this topic and the discussion that will follow.
