International Day of Women in Statistics and Data Science (IDWSDS 2024)

The Caucus for Women in Statistics and Data Science is organizing the International Day of Women in Statistics and Data Science (IDWSDS 2024), on October 8, 2024. Please read details below about how to particpate:

1. Invited Session Proposals: We invite you to contribute to the conference by submitting invited session proposals. Share your expertise, insights, and passion with our global community. Whether it’s a thought-provoking panel discussion, a hands-on workshop, or an inspiring keynote, we welcome your ideas. Submit your proposal by clicking here. The August 15th deadline for proposals is just a month and a half away! We know it may take some time to gather the required information for submission, so if you are planning to submit and want us to block out some time for your session, send a quick email to IDWSDS@cwstat.org with your session title and length.
   We are also excited to share that Invited Sessions at this year’s IDWSDS will also have the opportunity to submit a paper on their topic for a special issue of the Journal of Statistical Theory and Practice!
2. Registration is Open: Secure your spot at IDWSDS 2024! We have already had a number of you sign up early and encourage more to do so. Join us virtually from anywhere in the world as we celebrate the achievements of women in statistics and data science. The best part? Registration is entirely free!
