ASA, ISI, and NISS Town Halls on COVID-19

July 17 & 24, 2020 at 1 p.m. ET

ASA, ISI, and NISS will host a series of open town hall discussions. The purpose of these discussions is to understand the breadth of the statistics community involvement at their local, state or national level in Covid-19 public health efforts. 

Format

There are 4 town halls planned with the general format of a 10 minute introduction of what we know is happening followed by open discussion of members who have joined the meeting. The town halls will be an opportunity for participants to share their work, find new connections, and ask questions.   

Town Hall - Sampling & Registries

The first town hall will take place on Friday, July 17 at 1 p.m. ET and will focus on sampling and registries. 

This Town Hall will be hosted by Kathy Ensor and John Bailer.

Town Hall - Clinical Trials

The second town hall, on Friday July 24 at 1 p.m. ET will focus on clinical trials. 

This Town Hall will be hosted by Lisa LaVange.

Additional Town Halls - After JSM

The final town halls will focus on modeling and contributions to public health and will be scheduled after JSM.
