2012 Affiliates Annual Meeting

Monday, May 14, 2012 - 3:00pm to Tuesday, May 15, 2012 - 2:30pm

This year the Affiliates Meeting will include both the Affiliates' Liaisons AND a colleague (with preference for junior colleagues) who either are interested in the Preview of SAMSI 2012-2013 Programs or in the Cell Suppression Workshop.

The Affiliates Meeting Agenda will include Previews with technical talks on both of the SAMSI 2012-13 Programs: Data-Driven Decisions in Healthcare and Statistical and Computational Methodology for Massive Datasets. In addition, the agenda will include updates on the activities of NISS and of SAMSI and planning for the future by both institutes.

As customary, expenses will be paid for both Affiliate Liaisons and their colleagues. (Affiliates are urged to book flights early to obtain better rates and to consider less expensive flights to BWI airport, which has a train connection that is about as fast as connections from Dulles.)
