Assistant Professor in Department of Statistics - Ohio State University

Statistics and Epidemiology Unit of RTI International Seeks Senior Statistician

The Statistics and Epidemiology Unit of RTI International seeks a Senior Statistician for design, analysis and management of complex sample surveys. This individual will supervise statistical staff and have responsibility for technical and fiscal management of significant projects. Duties also include development of statistical methodologies, research opportunities, strategic plans, and proposals. Strong knowledge of sampling design, nonresponse adjustment, weighting, imputation, and analysis of data from complex sample surveys is required.

NISS Seeks Deputy Director

Statistical Programming Leader - RTI International

The Research Computing Division of RTI International has an immediate opening for a Statistical Programming Leader to direct a team of programmers and work closely with statisticians to develop the next generation of RTI’s highly successful SUDAAN® software for analysis of correlated data, such as survey, longitudinal and repeated measures data. NISS-EIA Energy Micro Data Research Program

 

General Information

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has established an Energy Micro Data Research Program to be conducted jointly with the National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS). This program is designed to allow academic and government researchers to utilize EIA restricted data bases to investigate interdisciplinary research topics of interest to EIA. Researchers must carefully describe proposed research projects, as well as their potential benefit to EIA.

Faculty Positions in Biostatistics at The University of Connecticut

Post-doctoral Position at Georgetown University

The Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Biomathematics at Georgetown University has an open postdoctoral position in methodology development for metabolomics. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in biostatistical methodology, proficient with statistical programming packages, and possess good oral and written communication skills. Requirements are a PhD Computer Science, Biostatistics/Statistics, Mathematics, or Biomedical Engineering. The position will be for a two year term with an immediate start date.

National Center for Health Statistics - Service Fellowship in Statistical Research and Survey Methodology
