NISS decided to hold a good old fashioned southern pig picking to kick off the summer season. We are happy to have two of our NISS-NASS teams returning to Research Triangle Park and wanted to share the experience of a pig picking with them, with our postdoctoral fellows, and some of the SAMSI visitors, many of whom are from other countries.

This year, our turkey fry celebration was held on December 18. We were lucky to finish eating just as it started to snow!
